The way I met Missouri is like this. I went to a party where a friend told me that I was a pretty woman, but "could use a little help". I didn't take it all that bad. She said she knew an image consultant and if I would mind if she gave her my number. I figured hey, I'm open minded, what the heck. So a day or two later Missouri called and we set up an appointment. Well, let me tell you. She went through every stitch of clothing I owned and had me try it on. By the end of the day, I KNEW how I looked in some of these clothes and no longer needed her input. Needless to say, not much was left in my closet. I had many bags for the needy. Of course, I first had to try and give it to my niece (she was 12 at the time) or someone in the family...some of this stuff was like new! She took one look and said "Oh no, this all needs to go!" My mother said "It's about time! I tried to get her to get rid of that stuff!"
After that, I hit the stores, went with Missouri for some makeup and Voila! A new me!!
It wasn't long after that that my friends started commenting on how good I looked. Shoot, one friend told me "It was the best money I ever spent". Actually, she has said this too me a bunch of times. Another friend said "Oh my God, you FINALLY got rid of those frumpy clothes!" These are just a couple of the comments that I got. I could go on, but this will become a book!
